No matter what I do I can't seem to get my daughter's hair to stay still. It flies away everywhere in a mess that screams: "mum why do you bother brushing my hair? I like it this way!" I try to put clips, ribbons, and twisties in her hair to no avail. She simply pulls them out sometimes taking hair with it, and then shows off a cheeky grin. Even with brushing her hair I am losing the battle, because she simply runs her hands through it or plants food in it for me to pick out later. Half the time I feel more like a monkey than a doting mother.
The other half of the time I really wish I could put fixative in her hair and see the results. It's also becoming slightly curly, somewhere between my husbands thick wavey locks and my messy mane. No wonder I have a hard time getting her hair done, she has our genes.

Yanno my mom used to complain of the same thing with me as a child. Apparently I spent lots of time with peanut butter in my hair.... I think every child's hair is like that though. Did you know all those kids you see with "perfect" hair usually have it cemented in place literally. But still having trouble with my own hair may I suggest using a friz away cream that helps a ton with fly aways.
I think I will try that! I hope they have that product here :) Please keep blogging, I check your journal like 2-4 times a day :P hehe
